Ashley Walker

Ashley Lindalia Walker is a planetary astrochemist and science communicator. She received her B.S. in Chemistry from Chicago State University. She has interned at Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. She’s an incoming PhD student at Howard University in the program for Atmospheric Sciences.

Ashley’s research interests include planetary atmospheres in our solar system, exoplanets, ice giants, and planet forming regions.

She advocates for students of color and highlights Black scientists during Black History Month. She is also the founder of #BlackInAstro week, co-founder of #BlackInChem and #BlackInPhysics week, and a committee member for AAS CSMA.
