Carolyn Collins Petersen

Carolyn Collins Petersen is a science writer and producer of astronomy content. She has written more than 50 immersive video programs plus seven books on astronomy and countless articles. She was the senior science writer for exhibitions at Griffith Observatory, California Academy of Sciences, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and has most recently worked with the Shanghai Museum of Science and Technology on their soon-to-be-opened planetarium and center.

Carolyn has long been involved in planetarium and science center content production. She’s also an avid science fiction reader.

Carolyn currently lives in high in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with her space music composer partner Mark C. Petersen and their two cats.
